Weekend Getaway v3.0

    I spent an awesome weekend in Virginia Beach. I only made it to the sand once and that was for a few seconds, but when you have sweet company it didn't really matter. Things I learned from my trip;
  1. I pack A LOT of stuff. Most of which are electronics. I carried 5 bags, half of one of the bags had clothes in it.
  2. if you get a hotel on the strip you better not make plans to move your car after you park or you may not have a parking space when you get back.
  3. Plans can change faster than a Formula 1 car. Be able to play things by the ear. I had to do this many times this weekend.
  4. I'm a jerk and an asshole. (not my diagnosis, but I resemble those remarks)
  5. It is unlawful to curse or generally be disrespectful on the strip or the beach, (WTF is that about lol) and the city of VA makes sure you know this with one of its intricately placed signs.
  6. I might be a lightweight, but I bounce back from liquor quicker than most.
  7. I want an Accelerate suit and a Night Raven.
  8. My truck is the most reliable, inconsistent SOB I know. I went from getting 14-15 mpgs to 18 mpgs. I guess it's like a wine it gets better with age.
  9. The devil designed I-95 for the torture of humanity's souls. It's the only highway that can go from smooth sailing to parking lot on the weekend in 2 miles for no discernable reason.
    With everything said and done though, I had an absolute blast and now I can get on with my job and make that money.
    Till next time.
