Project 365 (5)

So I was all set to do work on my personal project, but extreme amounts of traffic and road closures, forced me to postpone it for another day. Well, I wasn't about to let that little setback stop me from getting some shots. With a head full of new ideas from a few new books I've acquired in the past week, I persuaded a good friend of mine to come by and help me try out my new softbox. I also got to practice with some rim lighting effects. The result is after the jump

When she saw this image, she nearly jumped out of her skin. I am deeply honored that she was gracious and daring enough to pose for me and I managed to contain my wolfish grin behind the camera. Recently, I was going through some images I took a few years ago and I was taken back by how much I have grown in my craft. I know I still have a ways to go, but I like the progress I'm making.
